About the role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Motion & Video Specialist to join our vibrant team in Amsterdam. As the Motion & Video Specialist, you will play a crucial role in shaping and enhancing our brand's reputation and visibility, effectively communicating our message to our target audience through video content.

As part of our in-house brand agency, you will collaborate closely with our Senior Designer, Graphic Designer, Senior UX/UI Designer, Senior Developer as well as Content Writers and Product Marketers to produce compelling motion graphics and video content that positions us as thought leader, enhances our brand identity and effectively communicates our products and services.

What You Will Do

• Visual design: Conceptualize, design, and produce engaging motion graphics and video content for social media, marketing campaigns, product demos, and internal communications.
• Collaborate: Work with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality visual assets aligned with brand guidelines and objectives.
• Video Editing: Edit raw footage into polished videos, enhancing storytelling and viewer engagement with animations, transitions, and effects.
• Product Animation: Create visual effects and animations to illustrate complex concepts, data insights, and product features clearly and compellingly.
• Post-Production: Color grading, sound design and mixing, encoding, mastering, archiving, etc.
• Live Production: Work with our Senior Designer to assist in lighting setup, camera operation, set dressing, etc.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices, applying new knowledge to enhance creative output.
• Manage project timelines and deliverables, ensuring timely completion while maintaining high standards of quality and creativity.

What You Bring

• Strong portfolio showcasing previous work upon applying. Expertise in motion graphics, video editing, and animation, with a focus on storytelling and visual communication.
• 4 years in a Motion Designer & Video Editor role or similar.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Graphic Design, Motion Design, Film Production, or related field.
• Expert knowledge of Adobe Premiere CC in conjunction with other Creative Suite applications (Photoshop, Illustrator, Media Encoder, etc.)
• Excellent understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and composition.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced international environment, multitask effectively, and adapt to evolving project requirements.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail, with the ability to articulate creative concepts and provide constructive feedback. Experience working in an agency or in-house creative team is a plus.
