Internship in Client Services (Translation Industry)

Summary:


We are looking for for a Client Services intern to join our team in São Paulo. The candidate would be involved in the successful delivery of various international services such as document & digital translations for clients within the Life Sciences industry from apps and websites to clinical labels and health outcomes questionnaires. Experience will also be gained as a subject matter expert consulting with clients on industry best practices, process workflows, and technology.


Position responsibilities:


  • Collaborate with various members of the Production team to assess the scope of work and produce cost and timeline estimates for translation projects and requests
  • Initiate all project-related work by providing detailed budget, schedule and instructions to the project team, and where possible. anticipating pitfalls or potential roadblocks to successful completion
  • With the support of other team members, oversee the progress of ongoing jobs and help ensure that they are on track on a day-to-day basis
  • Take a proactive role in learning about clients’ industry, business needs and company culture, educating the Project team where possible, and committing to providing a high level of service
  • Help with the planning of tasks such as internal reports, data collection and accurate data input
  • Where needed (and under mentor/supervisor supervision), discuss issues with clients and Production teams and creatively propose solutions to alleviate issues
  • Support the team in ensuring that client expectations are met
  • Actively participate in internal meetings and in various team training sessions as well as participate in calls with clients where necessary


Essential skills and experience required:


  • To be enrolled in a university who are able to work with NUBE to provide an internship agreement for a minimum of 6 months
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills (other languages would be an asset)
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills and learning adaptability
  • Ability to work well with people from a variety of different backgrounds and cultures, work independently and as part of a team
  • Detailed oriented and quality driven
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Proactive, can-do attitude
  • Strong MS Office/computer skills
