What You Will Be Doing:

• Maintaining structured cabling systems, WAN, LAN, Wireless Networks, remote access, VPNs.
• Analyzing network hardware or software changes.
• Establishing LAN, WAN, wireless device profiles, device environments, directories, and security for installed networks.
• Work closely with IT and other departments to support their network needs
• Monitor network performance and ensure system availability, reliability, and capacity planning within the facility.
• Assessment of installation needs for network projects, coordination and oversight of contractors and vendors for wired and wireless networks.
• Participate in 24/7 shift rotation in the Infrastructure and Networking team.
  
  

What You Need for This Role:

• Experience with Cloud networking (Azure)
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Zabbix
• Experience with Network Security and Firewalls – preferably Palo Alto and Sophos.
• Knowledge of automation and scripting (Python, Ansible and Powershell).
• Confidence in working with Cisco equipment through CLI.
• In-depth knowledge of network protocols and services such as DNS, SSH, FTP, DHCP, QOS, IPSEC etc.
• Strong knowledge of routing and subnetting.
• Experience with using Network Analyzers such as Wireshark.
• Experience working with redundant solutions such as LACP, HSRP, ECMP etc
• Network segmentation and isolation – VLANs, DMZ etc.
• Strong problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve network issues quickly.
  
  

Certifications:

• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Network or equivalent.
