AAA Oregon/Idaho is looking for a Supervisor to help lead our Information Technology team, based in our downtown Portland, Oregon office.

Are you committed to professional growth? Do you enjoy coaching a team to achieve success? AAA Oregon/Idaho seeks a professional and dynamic IT Supervisor who will provide management and leadership, daily direction, coordination, evaluation, delegation, and communication to the IT staff.

Collaborate with the CIO to identify department priorities; set schedules and monitor work assignments.

Key Results

  • Provide leadership for the IT team including coaching and career development.
  • Monitor all IT requests, incidents and problems.
  • Triage urgent and complicated support issues to appropriate IT team members
  • Facilitate the determination of root causes for incidents and problems and communicate appropriately to internal and external customers.
  • Part of the on-call team rotation.

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Full supervisory responsibilities over a portion of the IT team; 4 direct reports.

Desired Skills

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in an IT technical role supporting multiple operating environments, PC/Server operating systems (Microsoft Windows 2016 and later) and network communications
  • Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.
  • Experience with Cloud Data Centers preferred.
  • 1-2 years previous management experience preferred.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills: can operate successfully with cross-functional team and across diverse employee populations.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills (written and verbal).
  • Ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
  • Proficient time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to comprehend and document technical issues with attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage, prioritize, and communicate status of multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Must be able to life/move up to 50 pounds.
  • Spanish/English bilingual skills a plus (not required). Bilingual differential offered.

Location & Travel

  • Physical attendance at the job site (Downtown Portland) is required for this role.
  • Requires travel within the Oregon and Idaho region, typically 10%-15%.
  • Position is subject to a Motor Vehicle records check and drug screen, including marijuana.
