Being founded about 30 years ago, this is a team that has been at the forefront of tax-credit based investments and monetization, well before the IRA, and the significant increase in the opportunity that this market presents.
Having historically been focused on real-estate investments across a wide range of different sectors, they have a consistent and steady transactional history with over 250 projects funded ($4.7MM in capital commitment), and have lead or supported the securitization of tax-equity capital worth over $1BB.
They are now highly interested in translating this demonstrated track record of success into adjacent industries to real-estate, where monetizing tax-credits is also a feasible means of financing real assets, and are naturally the most interested in the renewable energy space!
They are looking for a Sr. Associate of Renewable Energy to spearhead the Renewable energy division within the organization, act as the sector SME internally within the firm, and lead the origination, execution, and management of any and all deals involving clean energy production.
The ideal candidate would have:
-4-7 years of professional experience within renewable energy (project finance, M&A, origination, investing, structured finance, etc.)
-expert level understanding of tax equity, tax credits, ITCs, PTCs, and the IRA
-direct client-facing experience in their current and past roles
-an entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to wear many hats
