About This Role

As the Senior Manager, University Partnerships (Americas), you will take the lead in building new relationships with institutions throughout the region, growing Cialfo’s presence through new university partnerships and opportunities, and facilitating the growth of the high-quality community of universities already using the Cialfo platform. This role is pivotal in driving both growth and client retention throughout the region, contributing to Cialfo’s overarching goal of making education accessible. You will be part of a friendly, supportive, and driven community of Cialfolks, with autonomy over your work and excellent opportunities for career progression.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Actively develop new business opportunities for Cialfo in the Americas Region.
  • Communicate with prospective clients (colleges and universities) to understand their needs and explain product value.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with university partners and customers, supporting their strategic student recruitment needs.
  • Implement effective strategies for solution-based selling to increase Cialfo’s market share.
  • Conduct sales presentations to highlight the value of Cialfo’s solutions and identify clients' specific needs.
  • Close sales deals, working with sales managers and internal stakeholders to meet/exceed sales targets.
  • Regular and effective reporting using tools such as Notion and Airtable.
  • Analyze and interpret data to provide insights and actionable steps to improve growth strategies.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and developments.
  • Contribute to the wider regional strategy supporting university engagement opportunities.
  • Comfortable with public speaking and conference attendance.
  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through channels like HubSpot, referrals, networking, and cold calling.
  • Drive cross-selling and up-selling initiatives to continuously feed the sales pipeline.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions, providing regular sales reports to management.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (product, engineering, marketing, K12) to ensure cohesive support for universities.


About You

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent.


Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years experience within the international education sector.
  • Minimum of 5 years' sales experience with a history of exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience in developing and implementing successful student recruitment or international sales strategies.


Skills

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team with a solutions-driven approach.
  • Ability to quickly learn technology tools like Microsoft Teams, Airtable, and others.
  • Passionate about international student mobility, with a sound understanding of American university application systems, trends, and developments.
  • Knowledge of the Americas higher education landscape and the ability to navigate it.
  • Proven experience navigating complex, 6 month sales cycles.
  • Consultative sales approach.
  • Hunter sales mentality to seek new, qualified sales opportunities.
