Quality Control Technician

Summary
The Quality Control Technician I will be responsible for supporting Mod Bit at Arkadelphia, Arkansas to maintain our excellent standard of quality. This will be accomplished by completing raw material and finished product testing, managing Commercial Test Lab testing requirements, conducting daily shift audits and aged warehouse audits at regular intervals, in addition to completing internal calibrations/verifications. This role is an hourly role that will report to the Technical Services Supervisor. The ideal employee will be able to work the planned shift with the ability to flex hours as needed to cover the needs of the business.
Schedule:
This position will be working 12 hour shifts from 5 pm to 5 am. The days will rotate and you will need to work every other weekend.

Essential Duties
- Conduct all quality testing to ensure compliance with standards and finished product specifications. Enter all test results into applicable computer systems.
- Performing daily inspections of the production lines
- Attend shift change meetings
- Maintain and conduct internal calibrations
- Lab Housekeeping Audit
- Cross train in QC department and perform other duties as dictated by business needs
- Perform an inspection of packaged finished goods to ensure that all packaging specifications are adhered to when rolls are made as well as periodically checking the appearance of finished goods in inventory
- Participate in age warehouse audit
- Participate/input in FORCE Quality suggestions
- Must be able to occasionally lift 25-50 pounds
- Visual acuity to inspect product, read documents, computer screens, etc
- Manual dexterity to operate equipment, computer entry, etc
- Must have the ability to work in plant/warehouse environment (including high/low temperatures, dust, humidity, etc)
- Must be able to wear respirator as needed
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
- 1 year manufacturing experience, preferably in a fast paced, continuous process, environment.
- Experience supporting production and business goals.
