Music, Arts & Entertainment Reporter

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch is looking for a creative, enterprising reporter to help us cover the local arts and entertainment scene. We want someone with a passion for the arts, a willingness to learn about St. Louis’ rich and diverse culture, and an eagerness to dive into the local entertainment scene. You’ll cover breaking news and enterprise stories, with coverage for our digital platforms, newsletters, podcasts and print publications. The position will have an emphasis on music of all genres. You’ll learn about musicians in our area, connect with local venues and cover key concerts. But you’ll also cover other entertainment topics; theater and other arts areas; and broader feature topics. We want someone who can work in a fast-paced environment and write quickly, but who can also spot trend stories and deeper profiles and features. We want coverage that is urgent, immediate and insightful. A strong social media presence is a plus. You’ll work closely with a team that is committed to covering St. Louis’ arts and entertainment scene with passion.
