Position Overview: As a Licensed Life and Health Field Agent, you will be responsible for selling life and health insurance products to clients within your designated territory. This is a 1099 independent contractor role, offering you the flexibility to manage your own schedule and work autonomously while benefiting from the support and resources of our agency. You will play a key role in helping clients understand their insurance options and make informed decisions to protect their financial future.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain a strong understanding of life and health insurance products offered by the agency.
Identify and prospect potential clients through various methods including referrals, networking, and direct outreach.
Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand clients' insurance needs and recommend appropriate coverage options.
Present and explain insurance policies to clients, highlighting key features, benefits, and costs.
Assist clients in completing insurance applications and ensure all required documentation is accurately submitted.
Provide ongoing support and service to clients, addressing any questions or concerns regarding their policies.
Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and product updates to provide clients with current and relevant information.
Meet or exceed sales targets and performance metrics as established by the agency.
Maintain accurate records of client interactions and transactions using the agency's CRM system.
Qualifications:
Active Life and Health Insurance License in the state(s) of operation
Proven experience in selling life and health insurance products
Strong knowledge of insurance principles, products, and regulations
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships
Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools
Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within the assigned territory
