Description
Our client Company is partnered with Peraton on the Network Infrastructure Support Services (NISS) contract, in which the Social Security Administration (SSA) is seeking all necessary personnel to provide network support services to support Engineering, Integration and deployment, and Incidental network infrastructure task services.
Requirements
At level two (2), the Network Monitoring personnel must have the following Certifications: VMWare Certified Professional level or higher; Red Hat Certified Engineer or System Administrator.
Must have a minimum of ten (10) years of experience administering vmware ESX hypervisor and vcenter, redhat Enterprise Linux, and redhat Satellite in a large enterprise setting.
Must have experience building servers, installing server hardware, cards and other components, software, packages and performing firmware updates.
Shall have experience configuring systems to provide networking services, File Transfer Protocol (FTP), network file system (NFS), server message block (SMB), Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP), secure shell (SSH), Domain Name Services (DNS), Network Time Protocol (NTP), Sendmail, Apache web server and MySQL database.
Must possess strong shell scripting skills to automate system maintenance tasks.
