Job Purpose

The primary responsibilities are to provide technical assistance and support to end users, monitor and update Helpdesk Tickets, and assist Network and Communications team. This position reports to the Director of IT but will work directly with the Senior PC/ Helpdesk Technician. This position will split its time between Marana and Tucson sites. You may assist in monitoring and/or repairing/replacing network hardware as well as other tasks may be assigned as special projects arise.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Physical Demands: Requires sitting, standing or walking for extended periods of time. Requires bending, stooping, squatting, climbing, reaching to shoulder level, crouching, kneeling, and balancing. Requires lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling weight up to 75 pounds. Requires repetitive hand movement. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity. Requires corrected vision to normal range and ability to communicate effectively.

Equipment Operated: Telephone, personal computer, test equipment, printer, dumb terminals, copy machine, facsimile machine, switches, routers.

Work Location: MIS Office, computer room, various offices/departments throughout facility.

Potential Hazards: Exposure to VDT radiation, materials identified on Material Safety Data Sheets, working around moving machinery.

Protective Equipment Required: None.

  • Provide technical assistance and support to end users
  • Monitor and update Helpdesk Tickets
  • Assist Network and Communications team
  • Assist in monitoring and/or repairing/replacing network hardware as well as other tasks may be assigned as special projects arise.

Sms Requirements

  • Will participate in and support safety initiatives, safe work practices and SMS compliance.
  • Will participate in safety activities including the following: immediately reporting hazards, unsafe work practices and accidents/injuries.
  • Will follow all safety rules, FAA regulations, PPE compliance and equipment operation requirements.

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Tech savvy with knowledge of office products. With a focus on Office365 administration. Ability to use eDiscovery, Compliance, Exchange and setting up access to sites. Intermediate understanding of Windows computer systems and software, Android and Apple mobile devices, multi-functional printer copiers and other tech products. Basic understanding of Networking concepts and technology. Customer-oriented and calm under fast deadlines.

Education/Training: Some computer technical schooling, A Technician certification, or 3 years help desk PC tech experience, or a combination of schooling and experience preferred. High School Diploma or GED required.

Experience: Previous Office365 Administration experience required. IT Helpdesk and PC Support experience preferred.

Certificates/Licenses: Valid driver’s license required.

Other: May be required to work at both Marana, AZ and Tucson, AZ locations as business needs dictate.
