Our client in Sunnyvale, CA is commercializing a new agile microfabrication platform for fast cycle time chip manufacturing. Their platform provides fabless sensor chip companies a faster, lower cost, and more flexible fabrication alternative than traditional foundry routes. Their solution allows customers to reach market 10X faster and at 10X lower cost.
They currently have an opening for a Foundry Manager with MEMS experience as follows.
RESPONIBILITIES:
Overseeing the MEMS fabrication process to ensure efficiency and quality
Oversee and coordinate wafer lot processing, prioritize lots
Improving wafer fabrication documentation with the goal of establishing ISO 9001 certification
Implementing production schedules to meet deadlines and industry standards
Establishing quality assurance protocols and managing defect analysis
Leading and developing the production team, promoting safety and improvement
Managing the budget and optimizing resource allocation
Collaborating with R&D for process and technology innovations
Acting as a liaison with customers to meet their specifications and timelines
Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and conducting safety audits
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
B.S. or higher in semiconductor process engineering, chemical, mechanical, materials, electrical, or other relevant engineering field
Extensive experience in MEMS fabrication with a proven track record of managing production processes and leading teams.
Deep understanding of MEMS fabrication processes, including lithography, etching, deposition, and packaging
Proficiency with cleanroom protocols and equipment, and familiarity with CAD tools, simulation software, and process control systems
Strong leadership and team management abilities, excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
Familiarity with industry standards and quality management systems
Understanding of regulatory requirements related to MEMS production
