We’re looking for a Field Support Technician who thrives in a fun, fast-paced environment and is enthusiastic about resolving technical issues and helping others succeed.
As Field Support Technician, you’ll travel to client sites to provide quick and courteous technical support to Rocket IT clients and their employees. You’ll troubleshoot operational issues, install/update required hardware and software, and recommend computer products or equipment to improve company productivity. The ideal Field Support Technician candidate is a strong communicator and problem solver.
Key Responsibilities
Provide in person customer service to clients
Resolve and document tickets in a timely manner
Help people and organizations maximize IT uptime and performance
Continuing education/certifications
Qualifications
4-year college degree (IT relevance preferred)
1-2 years IT support experience
CompTIA A or Network Certification (current)
Physical Requirements
Must be able to sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, and reach
Must have visual acuity
Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds

Rocket supports an office-centric hybrid model that promotes teamwork and fosters strong relationships between team members. Full-time team members are required to be in our Suwanee office at least 3 days per week and are able to work remotely the other 2 days. Some exceptions may apply.
