Director of Facilities and Engineering

JCW is hiring on behalf of a hyper growth-phase personalized pharmaceuticals company. This role is 5 days on site in Houston, TX and the company will provide relocation assistance and visa sponsorship on a case by case basis.

As the Director of Facilities and Engineering, you'll play a pivotal role in guiding our engineering and maintenance teams. This strategic position involves overseeing a talented group of engineers and maintenance professionals, providing 24x7 support in a cGMP environment. RESPONSIBILTIES:

• Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for engineering and facilities, aligning with organizational objectives.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless support for manufacturing operations.
• Utilize extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry to maintain the highest quality standards in engineering and maintenance operations.
• Implement preventative maintenance programs and drive continuous improvement in operational efficiency.
• Coordinate with various stakeholders, vendors, and contractors to optimize facility functionality and security.
• Drive safety assessments, training initiatives, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in a technical discipline (Engineering, Sciences, Operations Management)10 years of combined experience in facilities management, manufacturing, engineering, and project management within an industrial production environment
• Preferred: Lean Six Sigma Manufacturing Green Belt Certification and Pharmaceutical/Bio-pharma industry experience
• Expertise in utilities operation and troubleshooting/repair, as well as process equipment operation and maintenance
