Responsibilities
Role Description:The OCR QA Manager works with various teams
both internal & strategic vendors, to define Test Strategy and roadmap, develop high quality technology solutions to maximise standardisation and reuse, in order to ensure that testing reduces in cost while maintaining Deutsche Bank's high quality standardsThey will take lead in topics of testing and data validation. They need to have specialization in one or more of tools such as Postman, HP ALM, Selenium, SOAP UI NG PRO. They must have hands-on expertise and skills working with SQL.Your key responsibilities:
Acts as an Subject Matter Expert (SME) for any QA-related topics
Aligns to the wider team/group objectives.
Creates 'best of breed' framework/harnesses for performance testing.
Champions and participates in the activities of the broader QA & Testing community.
Analyses system requirements and designs suitable performance test strategies.
Participates in learning and development activities to build deeper technical/specialist bench strength.
Cross leverages proven test practices and identifies opportunities for further standardisation, leveraging central testing services where possible.
Ensures adherence to testing best practices and Deutsche Bank testing standards, ensuring Bank standards are universally applied across the division and seeking opportunities to simplify and integrate QA and Testing tools and processes.
Oversees QA deliverables and tasks.
Owns specialist testing activities.
Provides vision and direction to area of specialisation/accountability.
Tailors process/frameworks aligned to business area need to ensure and leverage increased test efficiency.
Provides subject matter expertise, drives direction and/or leads creation, sign-off and implementation of the testing strategy and plans.
Trains/mentors existing projects teams in area of QA related topics.
Work in conjunction with the QA & Testing Portfolio Manager and senior QA & Testing professionals to provide expert QA and Testing leadership or direction/oversight to review and understand business requirements; functional and non-functional specifications.
Take responsibility for representing their area at appropriate cross-functional/domain and relevant forums.
Skills
Must have
Between 3-5 years proven and demonstrated specialist industry knowledge.
Accountability for all aspects of Test Delivery
Well versed with Test execution, defect tracking, performance testing
Experience working with Postman, HP ALM, SoapUI
Experience working with Jira and Confluence
Support all phases of testing like UAT, INT etc.
Proven experience coordinating and supporting QA teams.
Customer and service orientation to support interaction with senior stakeholders and team resources and clients.
Performance and productivity-oriented to drive quality testing outcomes and results within Deutsche Bank Testing practice.
Experience of defining and driving technical solutions which contribute to improved test strategy and delivery.
Experience of reporting, planning and resourcing across multiple projects.
Experience of implementing process improvement across the Software Development Lifecycle.
Understanding of Quality Frameworks and Management.
Proven experience with Risk Management and Control policies and procedures.
Previous experience working effectively in globally diverse teams and matrixed organizations.
Proactively initiates, develops and maintains effective working relationships with team members.
Demonstrated ability to co-operate with a variety of people and achieve results.
Ability to influence and indirectly lead/provide thought leadership on subject matter specialism.
