San Bernardino County has an exciting internship opportunity in our Community Development & Housing Department (CDH). CDH engages in key issues within the County such as homelessness and housing scarcity. CDH's goal is to be a leading organization within the County in addressing the housing crisis. Students will receive exposure to the following:
Research funding sources and develop informational records of funding requirements and restrictions.
Conduct special studies and research on housing trend information, collecting, and analyzing statistical data, and assisting with generating reports.
Learn how to prepare briefs, informational sheets, evaluations, specifications, plans, and oral/written reports.
Learn how to put together a County Board Agenda Item and provide staff support with the opportunity to spearhead board agenda items through the approval process.

Minimum Requirements
Enrollment in a program leading towards thirty (30) semester (45 quarter) units of completed college coursework in real estate, public/business administration, economics, or other closely related field.
