We are seeking enthusiastic Remote College Essay Camp Instructors to lead week-long virtual essay camps this summer. This role offers a unique opportunity to inspire and support high school students in crafting impactful college essays.
Position: Remote College Essay Camp Instructor

Compensation: $65-$75/hr
Classification: Contract (1099)
Hours: 8 hours per week

Responsibilities
Guide and mentor high school students in brainstorming essay ideas, developing strong thesis statements, and refining essays for clarity and impact.
Utilize your expertise to provide constructive feedback and assist students in the revision and editing process.
Collaborate closely with students to ensure their essays align with current college admissions standards.
Requirements
MA or MFA in English, Creative Writing, or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience as a paid college essay coach.
Familiarity with Common Application Writing Prompts.
Exceptional writing and editing skills.
Knowledge of best practices and current trends in college essay writing and admissions.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on providing high-quality guidance.
Detail-oriented and able to work independently with a proactive approach.
