Key responsibilities:
Designer 1
Convert cartoon sets to construction drawings
File documents for projects
Site surveys
Draft work for projects
Assist in putting together presentations
Work to a budget and timeline
Designer 2
Responsibilities of Designer 1 in addition to:
Work with existing conditions on projects
Process RFI submittals
Review building codes
Complete a set of drawings to a minimum of 50%
Designer 3
Responsibilities of Designer 1 & 2 in addition to:
Basic space planning
Complete a set of drawings to a minimum of 75%
Knowledge, skills, and experience:
A Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Bachelor of Arts in Architecture, Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design or a Master’s degree in Architecture
Knowledge of and ability to navigate Microsoft office products
Familiarity with Revit and AutoCAD (Designer 2 & 3 – strong Revit/AutoCAD skills are required)
Excellent time management and organizational skills
The ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Knowledge of building codes (Designer 3 position only)
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Able to get to and from sites reliably
