Confetti Institute of Creative Technologies (CICT), owned by Nottingham Trent University (NTU), has opened a brand-new campus in Whitechapel, London.

Opening in September 2023, our state-of-the-art campus provides the very best technology and facilities which includes a 600-capacity multipurpose venue for live music, entertainment and esports, as well as specialist studios and teaching spaces. Confetti is delivering pioneering creative education aligned to the entertainment industries at undergraduate and postgraduate study levels.

We’re looking for a passionate individual to join our Student Services team in the role of Senior Student Support Officer. With a primary focus on designing and delivering DSA-funded Non-Medical Helper support, you will also act as the main point of contact for all student inquiries as well as supporting the wider Student Services and teaching teams to offer an inclusive service. This role will be a key part of ensuring all Confetti students receive the welcome and support they need to thrive.

In The Role You Will

  • Act as the initial point of contact for current and prospective students regarding any accessibility needs
  • Provide specialist 1:1 study skills and mentoring tuition
  • Be responsible for the accurate record keeping of all NMH associated admin in accordance with DSA compliance framework
  • Plan, organise and deliver staff training sessions to support an inclusive learning environment

You Will Bring

  • Comprehensive experience of supporting students with SpLD, Autism, Mental Health conditions or other long-term health conditions under the DSA-NMH framework, preferably within a higher education setting
  • A recognised teaching qualification
  • First class communication skills
  • Exceptional relationship skills with the ability to enthuse and inspire trust with all stakeholders
