At DC Flooring we have an exciting opportunity to join our thriving company. We are seeking a Project Contracts Manager to become part of our team. Within this role, you will play a key part in supporting the team in a timely and professional manner in line with our company’s current processes to win projects and continue our growth path.
Job specification:
Discuss project requirements and specifications with clients onsite and over the phone
Carry out site survey inspections
Complete Site Audit reports on the system
Hire fitters and manage/allocate responsibilities to ensure projects run smoothly
Create work schedules for fitters on the company simPRO system and ensure projects run to time and within budget
Liaise with the estimating team to ensure a smooth transition of the client’s quotation and project requirements
Collate job packs for the fitters on site making sure that they have the information needed to carry out a project
Liaise with the Operations Manager in terms of purchasing/hiring plant, equipment, and materials
Carry out Toolbox Talks on site with fitters
Oversee projects to ensure staff are working safely, productively and to a high standard
Monitor the project budget to minimise overspending
Provide progress reports to clients via phone, email, or meetings in person
Keep the team up to date with any issues, requirements, or updates to ensure the project runs according to plan
Requirements:
Must be from an industrial flooring/resin/screeding background
Must have a full clean UK Driving Licence and must be willing to travel
