Aeronautical PowerPlant Engineer
Responsibilities
Work within the SGI Engines Team environment, on behalf of the company customers;
Perform Engines General Visual Inspections.
Conduct Engines Accessories Inventory Checks.
Overview Engines Borescope Inspections.
Represent SGI clients in the Engines Shop:
For any engines in work, review open items, latest status, expected completion times and options to reduce TAT or alternative solutions with both the client and MRO concurrence.
Review the daily spreadsheet for each engine in work to evaluate current progress, and any issue such as Material, Engineering etc..
Work with the Engine Shop to progressively close items to show engine progress.
Provide a summary update of any items requiring the customer response on a daily basis as required.
Skills
Minimum of 3 years work experience in Airline, AeroEngines MRO or Engines OEM, experience with Engines Shop Visits projects and familiarity with CFM Engines is favourable.
Competent with IT applications (MS Office, Adobe, Cloud storage, OEM Fleet Applications)
Good communicator (verbal and written) across organizations and with customers.
Performance driven, flexible and adaptable.
Pro-active approach to achieving customer satisfaction and driving change.
Willingness to travel occasionally onsite or to meet customers.
