Legal Counsel

As a Legal Counsel, you will work as part of a small and well-ran team, which the wider business relies on when making strategic commercial decisions.

You will develop your legal and commercial skills through exposure to a wide variety of legal tasks. The role will constantly provide learning opportunities as you consistently advise and assist with legal matters across the business.

What work will you do?

This role will cover:

• Ensuring that corporate governance is maintained;
• Supporting the M&A legal due diligence;
• Reviewing and preparing multiple documents;
• Proactively providing legal assistance across the business;
• Assisting the General Counsel in any dispute raised;
• Working closely with external support.

What type of person will be successful?

• Admitted as a solicitor in Australia;
• Between 1-3 years PQE in corporate and corporate law;
• Some in-house experience would be beneficial but not essential;
• Excellent verbal communication skills;
• Commercial mindset and a drive to deliver on high standards; and
• A capacity to think strategically and work well as part of a team.
