Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager to join our finance team. The FP&A Manager will be essential in leading financial planning and analysis efforts, delivering insights to aid strategic decision-making, and ensuring the organization's financial stability and growth. This position provides the chance to work cross-functionally, analyze financial data, prepare the annual budget, and significantly contribute to the company's overall success. The FP&A Manager will report directly to the Controller.


Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain annual budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather inputs and assumptions for budgeting and forecasting exercises.
  • Consolidate and analyze financial data (budgets, income statement, forecasts, etc.), considering company’s goals and financial standing.
  • Complete the preparation of monthly three-statement financials, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with GAAP.
  • Work with the Controller to support both routine and technical accounting needs related to the monthly general ledger closing, management reporting processes and external financial reporting.
  • Oversee and manage the quarterly freight reconciliation process, ensuring all freight charges are accurately accounted for, discrepancies are resolved, and cost variances are analyzed and reported.
  • Assist in the development of various management reports, including quarterly and annual reporting to meet all requirements.
  • Continually evaluate reporting processes across the company and lead projects to streamline and improve internal and external reporting.
  • Consult with business unit leaders to influence long term and strategic decision making and to support their business objectives.
  • Develop monthly cash flow forecasts to help inform decision making by management.
  • Complete special projects and assist with other ad-hoc requests as needed.
  • Assist with negotiating and monitoring natural gas and fuel agreements.
  • Monitoring and oversight of internal procurement processes and assisting the business units as questions arise.



Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from a four-year college or university in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration.

7-10 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance, with experience in professional services or a large company setting preferred.

  • Working knowledge of financial forecasting and diagnosis, corporate finance, and data analysis.
  • Attention to detail, good organization skills, and an aptitude for problem solving.
  • Advanced in Microsoft Office Suite with an emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Highly responsive with a strong sense of time management and the ability to meet deadlines efficiently and effectively.
  • Agile and proactive self-starter with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong technology skills including the ability query a variety of data sources (SQL, etc.) is a plus, but not required.
  • OneStream experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Jaggaer experience is a plus, but not required.

  2. This position is mainly sedentary. Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting.
  3. This position routinely operates standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopy machines, and requires frequent communication with team members as well as vendors.
