Public Relations Account Executive

Here's What You'll Be Doing:

Coyne PR is looking for an Account Executive to join their growing B2B practice. Account Executives work on a variety of account responsibilities, including conducting media outreach, media monitoring and reporting, and drafting/writing press materials and client correspondence. You will support senior staff with client work and actively participate in brainstorms. Must be able to work in a team-oriented, collaborative, fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

• Media Outreach
• Monitor media/today’s news
• Media reporting and results
• Develop media lists
• Keep a pulse on media throughout the day
• Attend and assist with on-site events
• Draft pitch memos
• Research for program development

What you should have

• Graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Public Relations or Communications
• Two years of experience in PR
• Understanding of the media landscape
• Knowledge of media reporting tools like Cision and Muck Rack
• Knowledge of social media tools
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Ability to multitask
• Strong attention to detail skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Candidate must live in the NJ area and must be able to commute to the Parsippany office
