Pay Range: $43.10 - $47.51 per hour

Our client is seeking a proficient Cybersecurity Analyst with a strong foundation in Splunk, coding (preferably Python or R), and database management. The role involves leveraging technical expertise to support SOC operations and incident response activities. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate their analytical abilities and public speaking skills through effective communication and comprehensive use of Microsoft Office tools.

Job Responsibilities

• Utilize SPL for operational intelligence in Splunk.
• Apply coding skills in Python or R to enhance cybersecurity measures.
• Manage databases and utilize SQL for data analysis.
• Develop and present reports using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Support Level 1 & 2 SOC operations with knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, evaluating phishing emails.
  
  

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Proficient with Splunk and SQL.
• Experience in programming with Python.
• Solid understanding of SOC operations and cybersecurity best practices.
• Will be giving weekly briefs so communication is important with Public speaking skills
• Peraton high BG or Security Clearance is required
