Highway Project Engineer

Hire Resolve's client is a leading Civil Engineering firm that is urgently seeking the expertise of a Highway Project Engineer in Newark, DE.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, schedule, conduct or coordinate detailed phases of the engineering work in a part of a major project or in a total project of moderate scope
• Analyze survey reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, aerial photography and other topographical or geologic data to plan projects
• Perform design computations
• Design projects in accordance with client specifications and guidelines, using design software and drawing tools
• Develop construction cost estimates
• Assist in the preparation of engineering documents for advertisement and construction
• Prepare and compile contract plans, specifications and estimates
• Assist developing supplemental task proposals
• Attend meetings with clients
• Coordinate with internal team members to ensure project completion by the defined deadline and established quality
  
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field from an ABET accredited engineering program
• 7-12 years' experience in specialized discipline
• Proficient in discipline specific design software such as Bentley MicroStation and Open Roads Designer
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Written and communication skills
