The Financial Business Analyst will be responsible for analyzing financial data and business metrics to provide actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making. This role requires a combination of strong analytical skills, financial acumen, and business understanding. The ideal candidate will be adept at identifying trends, creating financial models, and supporting business initiatives through data-driven analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret financial data to support business decisions.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to forecast business performance.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare detailed financial reports.
  • Conduct variance analysis to understand deviations from budgets and forecasts.
  • Support the budgeting and forecasting processes with accurate and timely data.
  • Provide insights into financial performance and suggest areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and provide data-driven solutions.
  • Prepare presentations and reports for senior management and stakeholders.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and economic conditions affecting the business.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all analyses and reports.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Master’s degree or relevant certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is a plus.
  • 3 years of experience in financial analysis, business analysis, or a similar role.
  • Proficient in financial modeling and forecasting techniques.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and experience with data analysis tools (e.g., Salesforce SQL, Tableau, Power BI).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Knowledge of [industry-specific software/tools] is a plus.
