Job Overview

We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Financial Operations Associate to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in managing vendor and honoraria payments with precision and efficiency. Your responsibilities will include ensuring accurate financial records, timely payments to vendors and speakers, and maintaining compliance with internal accounting procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Process transactions related to weekly honoraria and business expenses, guaranteeing utmost accuracy.
• Coordinate weekly payments, including check runs and wires, for all business expenses and honoraria payments, ensuring meticulous organization of payment backup.
• Collaborate closely with the account team to ensure accurate vendor setup in the financial system and the receipt of necessary payment documentation.
• Maintain precise records of all spending, deposits, and client payments in the web-based reporting system.
• Ensure timely completion of weekly timecard reporting for all resources.
• Administer financial systems and uphold compliance with internal accounting procedures and policies.
• Thoroughly maintain and complete all financial and accounting records.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or finance, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficiency in General Ledger accounting and familiarity with finance modules of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
• Strong technical accounting skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent analytical and numeracy skills, with the ability to identify and address financial issues effectively.
• Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks to meet deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, managers, and clients.

Salary Range

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $64,300.00 - $107,100.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on factors such as qualifications, location, and schedule. Additionally, incentive plans, bonuses, and other benefits may be offered based on the position and individual qualifications.
