Estimator

Hire Resolve’s client is a leading Construction firm that is urgently seeking the expertise of an Estimator in Portage, MI.

Responsibilities

Estimate and purchase all residential portfolio products

Estimate time, labor, construction materials, and product costs to calculate overall cost for each project

Coordinate the subcontractor bid process

Assist Sales with PCA & sales pricing

Issue purchase orders, generate rebates, and process invoices

Produce COR pricing alongside Selections for all products & process approved change orders

Maintain clean budgets for ease of job reconciliation

Purchase materials and labor competitively

Compile and maintain unit price database

Facilitate new product and trade base developments

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in construction, engineering, architecture or related preferred

Minimum of 3 years’ field experience in residential construction industry

Construction Management Or New Home Construction Estimating Experience Preferred

Ability to read and understand blueprints

Ability to work independently and effectively collaborate with project team and stakeholder

Excellent oral and written communication skills· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Excel), Bluebeam, and Builder Trend

Strong analytical, organization and time management skills

Effective conflict resolution and interpersonal skill

Salary: $70K/yr - $115K/yr negotiable
