Job Title: Equipment Maintenance Technician
Location: Multiple roles available throughout the Chicago suburban area.
Pay Range: Positions range between $30.00 - $40.00/hour, plus overtime pay.
Job Summary:
Responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing various types of equipment within a manufacturing environment to ensure optimal functionality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment and machinery.
Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
Repair and replace defective parts using hand tools, power tools, and precision instruments.
Conduct routine tests and inspections to ensure equipment meets performance standards.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
Additional related duties as required.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in a related field preferred.
Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing or industrial work environment.
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
Proficient in using diagnostic tools, hand tools, and power tools.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics is preferred.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends, if required.
