Job Title: Equipment Maintenance Technician
Location: Multiple roles available throughout the Chicago suburban area.
Pay Range: Positions range between $30.00 - $40.00/hour, plus overtime pay.
Job Summary:
Responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing various types of equipment within a manufacturing environment to ensure optimal functionality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment and machinery.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
- Repair and replace defective parts using hand tools, power tools, and precision instruments.
- Conduct routine tests and inspections to ensure equipment meets performance standards.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
- Additional related duties as required.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in a related field preferred.
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing or industrial work environment.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools, hand tools, and power tools.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics is preferred.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends, if required.
