What is the Opportunity?

The Global Equities Trading Operations team is a dynamic, high performing middle office trade support group that provides critical operational client service to our institutional clients and trading desk support in partnership with the Global Equities front office. The unit is comprised of a diverse group of trade support personnel, across two teams, with extensive backgrounds in operations across U.S. and International Equities. the operational environment.

Job Description

What will you do?

  • First line of contact for client operational staff for all middle and back office related issues and inquiries.
  • Establish and maintain solid relationships with client’s operations area and their custodians and prime brokers.
  • Allocate institutional client orders. Utilize CTM, and FIX allocation processing.
  • Process post trade date corrections and cancel / re-bills.
  • Work through the daily fail report and unmatched trades report. Work with client back office personnel to resolve failing trades and unmatched trades.
  • Work with back office to actively monitor settlement exceptions, ensuring timely settlement.
  • Work with P&S and trading as a liaison for street-side clearing.
  • Reconcile and balance average price and trading inventory accounts.
  • Coordinate Reg SHO buy-in process and communicate with RBC buy-in dept. and clients.
  • Coordinate with new accounts group to open and maintain Institutional client sub-accounts.
  • Monitor and action Corporate Buyback business.
  • Allocate, instruct and actively monitor all Latin America executions.
  • Special Project based work.

  • A high level of organizational skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to act in a time sensitive manner with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Ability to liaise with other areas of the Bank and develop strong inter-departmental relationships

Job Qualifications:

  • 3 years relevant middle office or back office experience.
  • Knowledge of Fidessa Middle Office applications
  • Knowledge of Broadridge back office platform
  • Knowledge of Omgeo product line

The good-faith expected salary range for the above position is $75,000 - $105,000 depending on factors including but not limited to the candidate’s experience, skills, registration status; market conditions; and business needs. This salary range does not include other elements of total compensation, including a discretionary bonus and benefits such as a 401(k) program with company-matching contributions; health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance; and paid time-off plan.
