Cellar/Warehouse Manager

£35k plus bonus and benefits
The purpose of the role is to ensure that the vents company operates its events to an industry-leading standard while managing resources to meet financial and other targets. This role is for someone with a Bar/Cellar or Warehouse and Logistics background within events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Bar & Beverage Operations: Oversee development and delivery of bar and beverage operations, ensuring quality management of the Group's cellars.
- Monthly and Weekly Meetings: Regular meetings with the Operations Director to set objectives and discuss orders for events and tastings.
- Standard Setting: Maintain high standards for cellar management, ensuring professionalism, quality, and consistency.
- Staff Management: Induct, train, monitor, and delegate tasks to cellar staff, fostering their development and motivation.
- Operations Management: Ensure efficient servicing of events and effective use of resources.
- Maintenance: Keep cellars clean, tidy, and organized across various locations.
- Storage: Ensure optimal storage conditions for beverages to prevent waste and spoilage.
- Inventory Management: Handle deliveries, returns, procurement, and record-keeping accurately.
- Order Processing: Prepare beverage requisition sheets and place weekly orders.
- Stock Control: Conduct monthly stock takes, maintain agreed stock levels, monitor pricing, and secure favorable supplier deals.
- Liaison: Coordinate with logistics, Event Managers, and Chefs to ensure efficient transportation and garnish bookings.
- Cash Bar Planning: Ensure proper planning and payment methods for cash bar facilities.
- Compliance: Adhere to health and safety requirements at all times.
- Training and Monitoring: Assist in implementing and monitoring health and safety policies, ensuring cellar staff are adequately trained.
