You will serve as a Supervisory Division Head for the Mission Planning, Computers, and Processing Test and Evaluation Division and Senior Test and Evaluation Engineer for VX-20 projects within the Mission Systems Testing & Evaluation of NAVTESTWINGLANT NWCF. They duty location of this position is Patuxent River, Maryland.
Position Duties/Responsibilities
You will provide administrative and technical supervision of Branch Heads and ensure continuity of TandE processes and policies.
You will be the technical expert and authority on Mission Systems TandE, providing technical direction and guidance for the design, planning, directing, coordinating, conducting, and reporting on VX-20 projects.
You will assist in the development of advanced TandE capabilities using various flight simulation facilities, laboratories, and networks.
You will interact with interfaces across Mission Systems Engineering and Digital, Analytics, Infrastructure and Technology Advancement (DAiTA) groups and facilitates developing a Capability Based LVC DTandE strategy for project teams.
You will develop, maintain, and manage investment projects aimed at advancements of TandE technology, facilities, and methodologies as they relate to the functions of Mission Systems TandE.
You will identify and implement ways to eliminate or reduce significant bottlenecks and barriers to meeting TandE goals and objectives.
You will participate in the development of the workforce with investments in formal training classes and through active participation in organizational initiatives.
