JOB SUMMARY:

The Senior Graphic Designer will play a crucial role in bringing our marketing campaigns to life across the Retail and CRM channels for L’OCCITANE in the US and CANADA, creating and executing in-store collateral and direct mail from concept to completion. This role will report into the Senior Director, Creative and Content, and will work closely with Creative, Retail and Marketing teams to ensure a holistic experience.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Create marketing materials for the Retail, CRM, and Merchandising channels for L’OCCITANE in the US and CANADA, including but not limited to: Window KVs and Installations, Retail POS, Flagship Store Windows, In-Store Fixtures, Direct Mail, and In-Store Videos.
  • With guidance of Senior Director, conceptualize creative direction while respecting international vision.
  • Conceptualize and create in-store collateral for store support.
  • Create presentations and/or mockups for internal reviews, commenting, briefing, or image retouching.
  • Package and send final files to printer.
  • Work with outside vendors on retouching and color reviews, and proof graphic materials before the product is marked as complete.
  • Present well-developed and strategic creative solutions to meet brand objectives, that are competitive in the beauty industry and help differentiate the brand.
  • Maintain schedule of deliverables across channels to ensure timely reviews and releases.
  • Communicate process in place to key stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to manage workload and meet agreed timelines.
  • Maintain and further elevate the brand aesthetic across all touch points.
  • All other duties or projects as assigned


KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:

  • Ensure synergies of retail/CRM channels within US/CA for all creatives.
  • Produce mailers that out performs LY.
  • Improve time management by working with channel partners, prioritizing urgent deadline requests and negotiating deadlines when necessary to manage workload.


REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or related field

EXPERIENCE:

  • 5 years of experience (agency or in-house creative department)


SKILLS:

  • Expert proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign.
  • Experience with After Effects or other video software. Figma a plus.
  • A customer-first outlook, with an interest in the beauty industry as well as industry trends.
  • Ability to self-manage multiple projects at once, ensuring they are completed in a timely manner.
  • Excellent communication skills, speaking to both creative vision and tactical details.
  • Strong presentation capabilities; adept at both independent and collaborative work.
  • Photoshoot experience a plus.


PHYSICAL & TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

  • 10% Travel


The compensation for this role ranges from $80,000 - $85,000 for the NYC region. Exact compensation will vary based on factors including but not limited to, experience, skills, and geographic location. In addition to annual salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program.
