We are actively looking for a senior PM with relevant hands-on experience managing critical and complex projects. This person may be responsible for managing projects within the WFA, Benefits, GL, Payroll, or Absence Management modules so it would be beneficial if they had PeopleSoft experience.

Responsibilities

Please see attached job description for additional criteria regarding knowledge skills sought as well as key responsibilities; however, please only present candidates that have demonstrated ability to:

  • Produce detailed project plans
  • Drive project to completion
  • Hold resources and task owners accountable
  • Report out to senior executive leadership
  • Well organized and can run project team meetings/Sprints
  • Either step into project mid-way, or manage from start
  • Ability to manage more than one project at a time
  • Can communicate and articulate very clearly to all levels of stakeholders

Years’ Experience Required: 7 serving as overall Project Manager

To streamline the process, please do not present candidates that have dual function titles (i.e., Project/Program Manager, Project Manager/Team Lead, etc.) as this will not allow us to determine actual “Project Manager” experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Applies project management techniques, up to and including the most complex and advanced, to independently perform research and studies, up to and including the most complex, for internal department and external campus, medical center or Office of the President constituencies.
  • Regularly leads analyses determining approaches, sources of data, methods, techniques and evaluation criteria to obtain project results.
  • Manages the project management process for products and services with broad, campus wide, medical center or Office of the President, institution-wide and / or multi-institutional scope.
  • Directs and analyzes project proposals and reports.
  • Has overall project management responsibility for broad, campus wide, medical center or Office of the President, institution-wide and or multi-institutional projects.
  • Assembles and directs large project teams, designs highly detailed and complex project plans and schedules and may oversee budget and resources.
  • Oversees all aspects of large projects from initiation through delivery including system integration, project, campus, medical center or Office of the President and community communications, interacting with vendors and managing risk.
  • Organizes the interdepartmental or multi-institutional activities with the goal of completing the project on schedule and within budget constraints.

Required Qualifications

  • 7 years’ experience as lead Project Manager with hands-on experience managing the project directly, responsible from end to end

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training
  • Project Management Professional certification
  • PeopleSoft project management experience
