Plant Manager

LHH is working with a manufacturing company in the Pittsburgh area who is looking to hire a Plant Manager. The ideal candidate will have experience managing both a production facility and a team. They should be able to analyze each step of the manufacturing process and make effective use of resources to deliver desired outcomes. The candidate will also have an ability to follow safety and compliance guidelines diligently in order to create a healthy work environment for all employees.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and oversee almost 200 employees
• Manage KPIs and the plants financial performance
• Provide strategic input and present to executives and stakeholders
• Develop a leadership team and delegate responsibilities
• Effectively run a plant that goes from raw materials all the way to packing and shipping
• Establish and enforce safety environment with clear roles and responsibilities, and regularly monitor performance using Safety Reviews

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or relevant field
• 10 years of experience in manufacturing with growing responsibilities
• Experience in plant management and manufacturing operations with strong communication, management and supervisory skills
• Must have managed a P&L of $50M
• Must have managed a plant with 150 people
• Experience with 5s, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and safety
