Review the initial disclosure and interview with inventors to further develop the disclosure.
Draft the specification of the patent application.
Prosecute the patent application, including responding to USPTO office actions and conduct examiner interviews.
Communicate with client about the prosecution strategies as necessary (English communication is sufficient).
Fully remote acceptable. Prefer in DC-Maryland-Virginia area.
Requirement:
BS in electrical engineering. MS preferred.
Took classes in semiconductor physics, circuit design, and computer language programming at undergraduate or graduate level.
Juris Doctor graduate from a US law school.
Licensed attorney in at least one US state.
Licensed patent attorney in front of USPTO.
At least two years of patent prosecution experience in specification drafting and responding office actions in semiconductor and computer science field.
Has experience in discussing and developing invention disclosure directly with inventors.
Legal status to work in the US. Can sponsor H1B.
Mandarin speaking is a plus, but not necessary.
The work location can be DC、Maryland、Virginia、Boston、Chicago、Austin.
