You will play a critical role in analyzing market trends, consumer behavior, and retail data within the cannabis industry. You will provide valuable insights and recommendations to optimize sales strategies, improve operational efficiency, and enhance the overall customer experience. This position requires a deep understanding of the cannabis market dynamics, retail operations, and proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.

Responsibilities

Market Analysis:

• Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends, competitive landscape, and consumer preferences within the cannabis retail sector.

• Analyze sales data, pricing strategies, and product performance to assess market opportunities and risks.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

• Utilize data analytics tools to extract, manipulate, and interpret large datasets related to sales, inventory, and customer demographics.

• Generate insightful reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs), such as sales growth, customer acquisition, and inventory turnover.

• Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders, including senior management and retail teams.

Performance Optimization:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop strategies for optimizing sales performance, inventory management, and product assortment.

• Identify areas for improvement in retail operations and recommend actionable solutions to drive efficiency and profitability.

Customer Insights:

• Analyze customer behavior patterns and purchasing trends to develop targeted marketing strategies and promotions.

• Segment customers based on demographics, purchasing habits, and preferences to personalize the shopping experience and enhance customer loyalty.

Regulatory Compliance:

• Stay updated on regulatory requirements and compliance standards governing the cannabis industry, ensuring adherence to all applicable laws and regulations in retail operations and data management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CFA, CMA) is a plus.

• Proven experience in data analysis, preferably within the retail or consumer goods industry. Experience in the cannabis sector is highly desirable.

• Proficiency in data analytics tools such as Excel, SQL, Tableau, or similar platforms. Familiarity with retail management systems (e.g., POS software) is advantageous.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and recommendations.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders effectively.

• Detail-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to identifying opportunities for process improvement and optimization.
