About the Role: The Appian Developer will be part of a dynamic team responsible for the end-to-end development lifecycle of business process management (BPM) applications. The role demands a balance of technical expertise, creativity, and a collaborative mindset to contribute to the team’s success.
Qualifications:
Good cumulative experience in software development, with a strong preference for candidates who have worked with Appian and a programming language such as Java.
Appian Senior Developer Certification is required,
Key Responsibilities:
Proficient in designing and developing comprehensive solutions using Appian BPM tools.
Capable of creating and managing Appian tempo, sites, SAIL interfaces, reports, and overseeing the deployment process.
Demonstrated experience with integrating Appian with various external systems to ensure seamless data flow and functionality.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve integration issues.
Good understanding of database concepts and working knowledge of at least one of the major databases such as MariaDB or MySQL.
Ability to design, query, and manage database systems effectively.
Provide ongoing technical support for Appian applications in production environments.
Responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving production issues to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement fixes and updates in a timely manner.
Develop and maintain documentation related to production support procedures and best practices.
Participate in on-call rotations to offer support for critical issues.
Proven ability to handle high-pressure situations and critical production issues.
Experience with logging and monitoring tools to proactively identify and address potential problems.
Strong understanding of incident management and change management processes.
Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and stakeholders during production incidents.
Commitment to continuous learning and improvement in Appian development.
