Position Overview: Our client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Director of Engineering to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fintech, extensive experience in engineering leadership, and a passion for blockchain and cryptocurrency technologies. As Director of Engineering, you will play a crucial role in shaping the technical vision, overseeing engineering projects, and driving the development of cutting-edge financial products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Develop and execute the technical strategy in alignment with the company's goals and objectives.
• Oversee the architecture, design, and implementation of scalable and secure financial solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, prioritize, and deliver product features and enhancements.
• Ensure the timely delivery of high-quality software, meeting all security, performance, and compliance requirements.
• Mentor and support the professional growth of engineering team members.

Requirements:

• Must be based in Europe and able to work remotely.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience within a relevant fintech company.
• At least 2 years of experience in a leadership role, managing engineering teams and projects.
• Strong understanding of blockchain technology, cryptocurrencies, and Web3 applications.
• Proven experience with the following technologies:
• Programming languages: Python, JavaScript (Node.js), Solidity.
• Blockchain platforms: Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain, Polkadot.
• Development frameworks: React, Express.js.
• Cloud services: AWS, Azure, Google Cloud.
• DevOps tools: Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines.
