JOB DESCRIPTION

Position Title: Sales and Service Head-Lubrication System Business, India

Reports To: Sales Head-ISEA, Lubrication System Business

Role Type: People Manager

Location: Pune

Purpose of the role:

Lead the team of Sales, Application Engineering and After Sales Service team to deliver profitable growth for Lub system business across India and drive customer satisfaction by offering aftersales technical service and support.

Responsibilities

  • Develop strategy to achieve profitable business growth through increased market penetration through direct and distribution business model and segment growth.
  • Drive segment business through application engineering team by creating segment growth strategy and application specific offerings, and value proposals (MMPC, COH, Metals, Pulp & Paper, Food & Beverages, Energy, Ports)
  • Drive customer satisfaction and service& spares sales through a team of service engineers ensuring proactive and on time technical services to the customers.
  • Build strong and competent team comprising of Territory Managers, Application Engineering (Technical Sales) and Service Engineers team. Coach, mentor and continuously invest in building the team’s competency relevant to the roles.
  • Define and drive the identified KPIs Matrix including funnel management discipline in the team.
  • Responsible for identifying gaps in SKF portfolio in addressing customer needs and suggesting ways to plug the same including new business areas with high degree of industry knowledge and ability to link solutions to industry needs.
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing and Sales Operations team to ensure customer satisfaction and sustained profitable business.
  • Collaborate with distribution manager to drive actions to create optimized distribution network and support implementation of 3 Tier distribution model.
  • Provide inputs to Distribution team for network expansion identifying the gaps in geographical penetration (Reach).
  • Drive marketing plans along with marketing team for product awareness and demand and lead generation.
  • Lead the business with strong focus on SKF Values, Drivers and Code of Conduct.

  • Direct P & L responsibility
  • Opportunity and Order Intake as per Business Plans
  • Turnaround time (TAT) for technical service and application engineering (offer preparation)
  • Revenue generated through new customer and new offerings.
  • Value proposals for critical segments

  • Bachelor of Engineering. Post Graduation/Diploma in Management will be an added advantage.
