Job Title Systems and Training Manager
Reports to Chief Refereeing Officer (CRO)
Location AIFF House with occasional requirement for travel

Overview
The Elite Refereeing Development Plan (ERDP) supports the management and development of Elite match officials in India operating in the Indian Super League, I-League, Super Cup, Durand Cup, I-League Division 2, Santosh Trophy as well as other Nationally recognised competitions and tournaments. The CRO has ultimate responsibility for the effective management, training and development of all Elite match officials.
To deliver the quality of match officials required by the competitions, the ERDP Project Board supports the recruitment of a Systemand Training Manager (STM). This role is pivotal to ensure the systems and transparent processes are in placein order to provide accurate and timely information so that match official training needs can be identified promptly by the associated specialist team members. The organisation targets to embed a “Learn and Grow” culture across the whole group of Elite match officials with frequent training seminars and data packs being delivered in a coordinated manner. In addition, this will enable high performance training material to be delivered to all Referee Assessors and grass roots match officials inspiring the Elite of Tomorrow.
ROLE PURPOSE
Responsible to the CRO, the STMwill have the key tasks of ensuring that the information systems employed are fit for purpose providing as much automated data as possible, ensuring all processes are documented, transparent and adhered to providing fairness to all, and coordinating the delivery and distribution of essential training on a weekly basis. Mandatory attendance will be required at the Key Match Incident Review Panel and Professional Match Officials’ weekly training meeting. The ultimate aim is to improve standards and consistency of officiating.
Main Duties Include But Are Not Limited To
The STMwill have responsibility for ensuring the effective use of refereeing information systems, adherence to agreed processes and the coordination of training material and events. This will include:

- Being responsible for ensuring all match official performance data is accurately captured and automated for ease of analysis and available to all staff responsible for match official development.
- Referee assessment reports are inputted on time, corrected and chased if necessary.
- Coordinating the effective and fair appointing of match officials in accordance with policy and ensuring appointing charts are accurately maintained.
- Effective liaison with the CRO, Referee Assessor Manager, 4 x Coaches, Analyst and Operations Manager to assist in the development of all match officials.
- Secretary of the Key Match Incident (KMI) Review Panel.
- Weekly update of KMI % accuracy overall and by category.
- Weekly update of match officials merit tables.
- Coordination, collation, distribution and storage of all technical training material.
- Managing all on-line training sessions for match officials across India.
- Maintain a full record of the match officials’ self-evaluation forms.
- Coordinate the organisation of the pre-season (MA Course) and mid-season training course content.
- Training delivery of Project Future India and Women Development Programme.
- Maintaining the AIFF website with relevant refereeing images and information
- Coordinating the video bank of training clips
- Dissemination of FIFA and AFC teaching material and guidelines
- Deputising for the Operations Manager
- All other duties as directed by the CRO
- Promote a positive image regarding Elite Match Officials
- Support external communications
