Vice President Operations

Title: VP Operations US (Confidential Search)

Overview:

Lead operational strategy and execution to achieve excellence in Operations, Maintenance, and Safety. Drive production efficiency, regulatory compliance, and cost targets while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with executives to develop long-term strategies and policies.
• Manage capital projects and budgets, ensuring profitability.
• Prioritize health and safety initiatives, ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Enhance operational efficiency through process optimization and lean manufacturing.
• Lead and develop the Engineering Team to maintain facility integrity.
• Manage direct reports, providing guidance and resources for goal achievement.
• Oversee third-party transportation providers to support business operations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in operations or management.
• 10 years of leadership experience in food manufacturing operations.
• Protein (beef or poultry or pork) manufacturing exerience Required
• Multi-plant leadership experience experience is required
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and industry reporting systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to drive change.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to travel as needed.
