Position Overview: We are seeking a driven and analytical Venture Capital Analyst to join our venture capital team on a full-time basis. As a key member of our investment team, you will be responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and executing early-stage investment opportunities in innovative and high-growth companies. The ideal candidate will have strong financial analysis skills, industry research capabilities, and a passion for identifying promising investment opportunities in the technology and startup sectors.

Roles And Responsibilities

• Deal Sourcing: Identify and source potential investment opportunities by networking with entrepreneurs, attending industry events, and monitoring industry news and trends.
• Due Diligence: Conduct thorough due diligence on potential investment targets, including financial analysis, market research, competitive analysis, and assessment of management teams.
• Financial Modeling: Develop detailed financial models, including valuation analysis, scenario analysis, and investment return projections.
• Investment Analysis: Analyze investment proposals and prepare investment memoranda outlining investment thesis, risks, opportunities, and financial implications for internal review and decision-making.
• Negotiation: Assist in negotiating deal terms, participating in discussions with entrepreneurs and stakeholders to achieve favorable investment terms.
• Portfolio Monitoring: Monitor and track portfolio company performance, financial metrics, and key milestones post-investment.
• Industry Research: Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and market dynamics to identify potential investment themes and opportunities.
