HELP DESK SUPPORT TECHNICIAN
Are you able to share your technical knowledge in a simple and understandable way? Do you like helping others? If so, you are the perfect team member we are looking for!
Essential Functions
Serve as the first contact with internal customers who need technical assistance
Perform troubleshooting using different diagnostic techniques
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve technical hardware and/or software issues
Provide quick resolution and excellent customer service
Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support as needed
Keep record of problems and their resolution in order to add to the knowledge base or FAQ’s
Follow-up with customers after the initial diagnosis and repair to ensure customer satisfaction
Provide feedback on help desk processes and make recommendations on areas to improve
Maintain technical documentation and service catalog on installation of software, configuration of hardware and problem troubleshooting
Qualifications
Associate’s degree in IT, Computer Technology or similar preferred or equivalent years of experience
Previous working experience as a Help Desk Support Technician for 3 years
In-depth knowledge of computer systems and mobile devices
Hands on experience with diagnosing and resolving basic technical issues
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Customer-oriented
Requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age at the time of hire
Ability to pass drug test and background verifications
Must have a valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record
Occasional travel required
