Maimonides is an affiliate of Northwell Health and a major clinical training site for SUNY Downstate College of Medicine.As the Revenue Cycle Manager of our Cancer Center, you will manage and direct a team of 20 patient access staff members as you oversee all functions of billing and revenue cycle to maximize cash flow while maintaining customer relations.Functions of role include:

• Strategic direction for registration, authorization, and clerical/billing staff.
• The ability to lead, supervise, develop and train staff to meet the needs of the department.
• Understanding of the nuances of insurance plans from both registration and authorization requirement perspectives.
• Being adept at analyzing data to identify trends and meet the financial needs of the Cancer Center.
  
  

We require:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration or related area.
• Minimum 3-5 years in a healthcare revenue cycle related field.
• Excellent supervisory skills
• Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
  
  

Salary $80,000-$100,000/year. Hours: Mon/Tue/Wed/Thrs/Fri, open weekends, must be available by phone in emergencies. We offer comprehensive benefits include a 403(b) retirement plan.
