Centra Medical Group (CMG) is comprised of 500 Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers and serves 600,000 central and southern Virginians. CMG offers an integrated healthcare system, including 4 hospitals, 5 regional medical centers, 70 physician practices, including primary care, medical, and surgical specialists. Centra is continuing to grow, with plans to expand into a larger campus in the next few years. These plans include the construction of a new specialty office building, which will house the Brain and Spine programs along with other surgical specialists. In addition, a new 5-story patient care tower will house an additional 100 patients at Lynchburg General Hospital. The LGH ED will be replaced and incorporated as part of the new Northeast Tower. The new Emergency Department will include 71 treatment bays, five trauma bays and four imaging rooms. Enhancements will include a split flow model of care to expedite and enhance patient experience of care, an integrated EmPATH psychiatric patient space, super track/imaging/results lounge and improved connectivity and utilization of the ED observation unit.

About The Practice
The Centra Southside division of Centra Medical Group (CMG) anesthesia offers a care team model practice opportunity for the experienced CRNA who enjoys challenging cases, regional anesthesia, and other procedures. One Anesthesiologist currently supervises a mix of full time and PRN CRNAs staffing four ORs, a busy two room endoscopy suite, a bronchoscopy suite, and labor and delivery. Surgeons, hospitalists, and ER physicians round out the care team model when no anesthesiologist is available. Three general surgeons, three OB-Gyns, one urologist, two orthopedic surgeons, two ophthalmologists, one gastroenterologist, one pediatric dentist, and one pulmonologist offer a great case mix. Cardiac team to soon need anesthesia staffing for TEE. No hearts, no heads, and exceedingly rare trauma.
You Can Expect:
NEW 1099 Rate - up to $160/hr
NEW W-2 Rate - $135/hour - Includes Malpractice Insurance
Minimum Work Requirement- 16 hours every 8 weeks
Required Qualifications
Our ideal candidate will have CRNA experience. New grads with a passion for learning & growing will also be considered.
Qualified candidates must possess a master's degree, current Virginia licensure, certification with NBCRNA, ACLS and PALS.
