Member Duties : The Cornerstone Community Development VISTA will increase Cornerstone Corporation’s capacity to revitalize an impoverished community that has experienced social injustice, housing instability, and disinvestment for generations. Cornerstone specifically targets the St. Louis West End neighborhood and those who are lower income within that community. We have successfully purchased, rehabilitated, and offered affordable housing in the West End but our renewed vision engages our efforts in more than just housing and we are beginning to map out what this organizational and community-based shift will look like over the next five to twenty years. We are coordinating our passion for racial justice with viable management and business practices.
