Industrial Equipment Tech Job Description:

Industrial equipment techs are in charge of Installing the equipment on the job site. You will be required to work with different crews to make sure all equipment and associated parts are in their proper location and installed per plans/specifications. You will work directly with the Foreman and Project Managers to continue to gain knowledge of all equipment and the job site.

Industrial Equipment Tech Job Responsibilities:

• Rigging equipment for crane/forklift
• Knowledge of equipment requirements
• knowledge of equipment locations
• Work with Equipment foreman and PM to gain knowledge of what is required
• Follow equipment anchoring requirements
• General Construction knowledge
• Make sure all Parts and Pieces of equipment are ready for installation
• Verify P&ID drawings match install
• Review and verify submittals match equipment onsite
  
  

Preferred experience:

• Boiler equipment knowledge
• Control valves and instrumentation valves knowledge
• Steam piping/equipment experience
• Hydronic piping/equipment experience
• Air piping/equipment experience
  
  

Seeking a dedicated and flexible Industrial Equipment Technician to join our team. This role may require occasional work on or with other crews. This role may also require you to work a swing shift due to the dynamic nature of construction schedules. Adaptability and a strong work ethic are essential for success in this position

Education, Experience, & Licensing Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record
• Previous experience operating a forklift or pallet jack a plus
