SUMMARY:

The HR Advisor serves as a resource for colleagues, consultants, associates, and candidates, and other key stakeholders, serving as the face of HR and primary point of contact to provide strategic HR leadership, support, and service delivery to assigned business group(s).


The primary focus of the HR Advisor is support for Soliant leadership and people managers, advising and coaching on employee relations within all stages of the employee life cycle. Additionally, acts as subject matter expert in HR law, policies, and procedures.


Essential Duties:

  • Advises and assists internal clients with interpretation and application of policies and procedures, coaching, legal compliance, employee complaints, disciplinary and termination issues, and other employee relations issues. Applies expertise in all aspects of Human Resources to support business needs.
  • · Responds to and where necessary investigates promptly any discrimination, harassment or other serious claims, documenting thoroughly; partners with Soliant Legal to create company responses to EEOC charges and other external claims received.
  • · Advises on FMLA, ADA relevant matters, such as facilitating reasonable accommodation requests, and handles escalated situations related to leaves of absence.
  • · Gather and analyze data and make recommendations for improvement in key areas such as colleague turnover.
  • · Develops and leads formal and informal training, primarily for management, on HR and leadership relevant topics.
  • · Acts as a visible, approachable, HR resource, for assigned location(s).
  • · Leads HR orientation for new colleagues.
  • · Serves as escalation point for HR Operations team.
  • · Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
  • MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field required. Four (4) years of human resources, legal, or related experience required.


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIREMENTS:

  • · Skilled in communicating effectively verbally and in writing with all levels of the organization. Ability to balance approachability and humility with demonstrating confidence and credibility for the good of the company, even when delivering an unpopular message.
  • · Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships and trust with all levels of leadership.
  • · Ability to perform accurately in a detail-oriented and fast-paced environment while continually demonstrating a high-level of customer service.
  • · Strong organizational skills required to succeed in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • · Ability to prioritize, organize and perform multiple work assignments simultaneously while meeting assigned deadlines.
  • · Knowledge of and ability to effectively utilize Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) and payroll systems, such as PrismHR, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Systems, Applicant Tracking Systems, electronic onboarding, case management tools and other HR systems or tools.
  • · Knowledge of related federal, state, and local laws, rules, and regulations, including Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) and Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO).
  • · Proficient with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
